Woodbridge in Irvine, California
Woodbridge is one of the largest planned community in Irvine, California. Most of the homes in Woodbridge were built from the mid 1970s to the late 1980s. The community is built around two man-made lakes. Yale Loop is the main artery around the community. The borders of Woodbridge are Culver on the west, Jeffrey on the east, the 405 freeway on the south and Irvine Center on the North.
Woodbridge residents have access to all the recreation facilities in Woodbridge including the 2 lakes, 20 parks, 22 pools, tennis courts, and a community center.
There are many builder tracts with a variety of home sizes and styles. Homes include condos, townhomes, and single family homes. All homes are maintained by association maintenance companies, making Woodbridge a beautiful and well manicured place to live.
All schools in Woodbridge are in the highly rated Irvine Unified School District. There are several elementary and middle schools, and all high school students currently attend Woodbridge High.
Woodbridge is located close to shopping areas including Woodbridge shopping center which has a wide variety of stores, restaurants and medical offices. Other local shopping centers include food and drug stores, general merchandise and clothing stores, and many restaurants. There is easy access to transportation including the 405 and 5 freeways, 241 and 73 toll roads, Metro train station, and John Wayne International Airport.
Other recreation is close by with Los Angeles to the north and San Diego to the south. The ocean is only 7 miles at Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, and mountain skiing is 2 hours away. Palm Springs is close and Las Vegas is about 4 hours to the northeast.
